I go riding with a group of friends on Saturday mornings. This a.m. we were on the trail, and it came to a split. My riding partner said “Should we take the path we have never taken before, or go back the same way?” I opted for the new path, since it was more exciting to take a new route. As we rounded the bend, we realized it led to the same place.
What was apparent to me was that in life, we can take different paths, but may end up in the same place. Having always heard that it is “the journey” that matters, I realized how riding a horse can reinforce some of life’s greatest lessons.
